Discover Poland – next edition: October 20th-21st, 2010

On 21-22 October 2009, during the Tour Salon, which is the largest tourist show in Poland, the Poznan International Fair will promote Polish active tourism. Polish entrepreneurs will have a unique opportunity to present their products and services to tour operators from all over the world during specially arranged meetings, and to show the unknown face of Polish tourism. And this is all as a part of an innovative project named "Discover Poland".
Invariably, one of the most important marketing tools and a chance to establish new contacts is to present your products during a big trade show exhibition. Specialists for business meetings from the Poznan International Fair have increased a traditional formula of fairs by matchmaking to provide exhibitors and visitors with a chance to meet directly, in a narrow circle, with visitors interested in their products or services. Either sellers or purchasers of services or goods do not have to waste time looking laboriously for new partners for talks or arranging meetings. This is what organizers of the fair do. It is enough to express willingness to participate in the project and to appear in the agreed place at the agreed time, in order to initiate a new business contact.
Business matchmaking will also take place during the upcoming Fair of Regions and Tourist Products Tour Salon, which will be accompanied by the arrival tourism workshop called Discover Poland. Its organizers set themselves a target to select partners for business talks so that this could result in later cooperation and lucrative contracts.
Discover Poland's goal is to promote Polish tourist attractions among active leisure enthusiasts by establishing contacts with foreign qualified tourism organizations. Poland is a country with exceptional active tourism possibilities and the intention of Discover Poland workshop organizers is presenting that potential to foreign tourists.
Poland's tourism offer is no longer limited to giving foreigners sightseeing tours in Kraków, Warsaw or Gdańsk, as an alternative to the traditional understanding of tourism is arising. It places pressure on satisfying customers who are demanding and searching for non-standard forms of active leisure, such as: horse riding, kayaking, sailing, cycling, and trekking.
Discover Poland is an ideal opportunity for Polish companies to present such offers directly to foreign leisure organizers. Last year the participants in the workshop on tourism products offered by national vendors were tour operators from such countries as Germany, Belarus, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Georgia, and Australia. During this year's edition of the workshop we expect an even greater number of qualified tourism organizers from nearly all of Europe.
