Terms and conditions of participation

1.     General information

1.1. Discover Poland is organised in Poznań, on the grounds of the Poznań International Fair on 21-22 October 2009 during the Fair of Regions and Tourist Products Tour Salon 2009.

1.2. The objective of Discover Poland is the creation of an effective communication platform for entrepreneurs from the tourist sector by arranging individual meetings of Discover Poland participants.

1.3. You can participate in Discover Poland as a Buyer or Seller of tourist services, provided that:

     a) a Buyer is a foreign or domestic: tour operator, meeting planers, incentive decision makers, PCO;

     b) a Seller is a provider of tourist services on the territory of the Republic of Poland: incoming tour operator, hotel, restaurant and catering, carrier, museums and others.

2.     Registration

2.1. In order to attend as a Buyer to Discover Poland 2009 (DP09) a Tourist Company has to register on www.discoverpoland.mtp.pl

2.2. At the end of this procedure the Buyer will receive a letter that confirms its preregistration and communicate the ID and Password to enter in its reserved area.

2.3. Registration is not a confirmation of participation.

2.4. The Organizers of DP09 will make a check of the preregistered companies and during this process they can ask additional information to the applicants.

2.5. When an applicant company is accepted as Buyer:

• They will receive a confirmation letter;
• They have to pay 100 € as participation fee, the invoice will be issued by Poznan International Fair;
• Payments should be made to the account of the Poznań International Fair Ltd.:

• After completing the registration process and making the payment, the Buyers will be contacted to organize the issuing of the flight tickets.

2.6. The Buyers, in two weeks, have to confirm their participation. After the confirmation the flight ticket will be issued.

2.7. If the Organizers will not receive a confirmation from the Buyer, the organizers can't guarantee the flight ticket for free and the Buyer has to provide it by himself/ herself.

2.8. In case the Buyer confirms the flight and decides not to participate to Discover Poland a reimbursement of 300 € will be requested.

2.9. The tourist companies accepted as Buyers enjoy the following benefits as members of the Hosted Buyer programme:

• participation for one representative in scheduled meetings;
• we offer complimentary flight for 1 person for continental flights . Tickets do not include airport charges and taxes (special prices for Discover Poland's participants or AD ticket for a return ticket to Poland);
• Transfers: the airport / railway station - hotel - the workshop venue - hotel;
• Accommodation for 1 person in a hotel in Poznań, from 20 - 22 October 2009
• A Buyer's badge for the entry to the exhibition grounds during Discover Poland 2009;
• A participants' package: practical information, a meeting schedule, Discover Poland participants' catalogue, Tour Salon exhibitors' catalogue);
• participation for 1 representative in Gala Dinner;
• catering during Discover Poland 2009.

3. Just before the workshop the Buyers will receive a meeting agenda with the list of the meetings. In case of holding less than 70 % of meetings planned a reimbursement of 300 euro will be requested

4. If the number of the planned hosted Buyers will be completely covered, the organizers can accept extra Buyers that can come without benefit of the hosted Buyer program.
